On with the Show!

Mtv has decided to air DJ AM’s show “Gone Too Far” despite the controversy of AM’s drug overdose. The show is suppose to include the late DJ AM, as a recovering drug addict, confronting others with drug problems in an intervention type environment. The reality series was scheduled to debut October 5 but it was held off when AM was discovered dead in August. The new air date has yet to be determined and is currently being discussed with AM’s family.

E! has described this show as “Hypocrisy” since AM died of a drug overdose. It seems more ironic to me. Was AM a hypocrite or just a struggling drug addict?

DJ AM Nike Line

Before his unfortunate death, DJ AM was working for months on a shoe line with Nike. Everything was approved by AM and ready to be released. Due to his untimely death, Nike has decided to hold back on the release and work out a terms of release with AM’s family. These Dunks will be hard to get your hands on, so keep an eye out.

DJ AM buried today

Adam Goldstein, AKA DJ AM, was buried today at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary. The service took place at 3pm. The memorial service will be tomorrow night at Hollywood Palladium. May he rest in peace.

R.I.P DJ AM

Adam Goldstein, Dj AM, was found dead in his NewYork apartment in SoHo.  A crack pipe and perscription pills were found in the apartment. Dj Am had a history of drug addiction, which he openly admitted to. He was set to have his own reality show about his battle that was to premier in October on MTV. Last year Goldstein and friend Travis barker survived a horrific plane crash that left them with injuries and claimed their two friends lives. There is no word on if this was a possible suicide. He had tried to commit suicide in the past. It looks to me like it was an accidental overdose. I follwed his twitter and his tweets always seemed positive. This is another tradedy in hollywood caused by drugs. The past two years people have been dropping like flies. Remeber folks, Crack kills.
