After the news broke out about the reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, fans were devastated because the film was reportedly being done without Buffy creator, Joss Whedon. Joss released a statement about his disappointment of the reboot idea. Well, it turns out that statement was a bit misleading. Fans thought that the Buffy reboot was being done despite Joss Whedon, but in fact, Joss was offered to be a part of the project but declined (according to cinema blend). The fact that Joss obviously does not want the reboot to be made, especially without him, should still be a good enough reason for fans to continue to be against the film. Besides, the movie will suck without Joss anyway. It can’t truly be Buffy without him. So, although this is somewhat disappointing news, it doesn’t change much. The movie will still go on and the fans will still be against it.

We must save Buffy from this disaster and give Joss Whedon the respect that he deserves. Buffy has saved the world from an apocalypse countless times. Now, it’s our turn!
I think the person doing Buffy’s voice sounds more like Faith…well, maybe if Faith took some happy pills. I’ve watched the Astonishing X-Men (also written by Joss Whedon) motion comic and I really liked it, so I’ll probably watch this one too. Plus, I’m a die hard Buffy fan so I kinda can’t help myself. I know that the writers and artists are amazing, so, if the voices suck, I’ll just ignore it and try to enjoy the creativeness and the storyline.
This comic looks amazing! I really need to start buying them…so maybe you can give me some money? Fray would also make a bad ass movie.
